Purnima Hallock

Purnima Hallock draws from over 15 years of experience managing fund development and communication programs as well as strategic initiatives for a variety of nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She has spent her career working with several nonprofits to develop mission awareness, advocacy-based policy reforms, and successfully increase annual giving.

Most recently, Purnima led development and communications at the Great Books Foundation, an education-focused national nonprofit. Prior to that, she worked in the same role for an organization helping end sexual exploitation and trafficking of children in the US and early on in her career for an organization promoting literacy among women and children in Afghanistan. Purnima also oversaw marketing and outreach efforts at Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts as well as worked with Oxfam at State Street Corporation, a global financial services firm, to develop employee giving initiatives.

Purnima holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, exploring the outdoors, finding addictive books to read, and snuggling up with her family on their weekly movie nights.
